“And let us consider how we may spur one another on
toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together …
but encouraging one another”
Hebrews 10:24-25, The Holy Bible, NIV
Sunday Service (Weekly)
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am to worship God, learn more about Him and encourage each other in our faith.
A normal Sunday Service will include:
- Hymns or songs of praise,
- Bible readings,
- A sermon based on a bible text,
- Prayers
- We do not take pass round an offering plate, however there is a plate at the back of the church for those who wish to give to support the work of the church.
- You are invited to stay for refreshments after the service.
Communion Service (Monthly)
Our communion service is normally held on the second Sunday of the month. It is just like a normal Sunday Service with the addition of the communion meal at the end of the service.
Communion involves taking bread and wine (non-alcoholic in our case) as a reminder of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The bread symbolises Jesus’ body and the wine symbolises his blood which was shed on the cross.
We welcome all who love the Lord Jesus to partake in the communion portion of the service, however there is no obligation.
Parade Service (quarterly)
Four times a year we hold a Parade Service on a Sunday for the Uniformed Organisations that use our hall. The Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows are encouraged to take part in the service.
